Halo 4: King of the Hill Fueled by Mountain Dew

Are you still waiting for that break to spend some quality time with Halo 4? Well, we’ve got something for you to kill the time with and get your Halo fix via your Android or iOS device in the meantime.

With a lot of us being huge Halo fans, we were pleased to have worked in a development partnership with Ogmento to bring you all this fun and engaging app in time for the Halo 4 release. Ogmento is all about location-based games where the world is your platform. With that in mind, once you acquire the app, prepare to see all the 7-Eleven stores near you. What’s in it for the players? You will be able to win digital Halo 4 gear such as Double XP, a Ghost prop avatar (for Canada), or a Custom Locus Helmet (for U.S.). All you have to do is check in to 7-Elevens, become the King, and defend your turf through your smartphone. If you find yourself short of ammo, all you need to do is scan the front of a Mountain Dew bottle or bag of Doritos. If you earn sufficient points, you will be sent an unlock code for special DLC for Halo 4.

The app is free to download from either Android’s Google Play shop or the App Store. Enjoy!

Spartacus Legends On CNN!

It’s been a great week for Spartacus Legends. We were especially excited to see CNN call Spartacus Legends one of the five games to watch from Comic Con 2012. They were particularly interested in one of the game’s more hardcore features: “One catch that’s sure to pique the interest of fighting fans is that when a warrior has fallen in combat, if the victor decides to vanquish his opponent, that character is dead forever.”

As a bonus video, check out GamerLiveTV‘s interview with Spartacus’s Liam McIntyre, in which he discusses the game.

Spartacus Legends Announced!

We’re very proud to announce that we’re developing Spartacus Legends, an upcoming Xbox Live and Playstation Network game published by Ubisoft. Spartacus Legends will be playable this weekend at Comic-Con in the Ubisoft and Starz Media booths.

Spartacus® Legends is a brand-new fighting game coming to Xbox LIVE® and PlayStation®Network in early 2013. It follows the journey of gladiators, from gut-wrenching training to raw, visceral combat in the arena, usually ending in death. Impose your will on the competition, rise through the global ranks and become legendary in battle. Featuring thousands of ruthless weapon combinations and a robust skill system, Spartacus Legends allows you to customize your gladiators and mercilessly dismember your enemies, limb by limb. Challenge your friends, your foes or the worldwide leaderboards, online or offline, to forge your destiny and fight for your house honor. Two men enter the arena, will you come out alive?

Stay tuned for more information! In the meantime, check out Starz’ Spartacus Legends site for more details.

Gamezone: “… the game is a fifteen-dollar downloadable title that offers more playability than any MMA/UFC game on the market. It’s also considerably unique in its gameplay style that is definitely a homage to fighting games. Simply put, 345 Games’ Bellator: MMA Onslaught is a great addition to the ever-growing digital marketplace and compliments the ever-growing sport that is Bellator.Full Review
